This week I have been up in Barry, South Wales for our quarterly meet up of the Xperience group.  Its a group of photographers all working independently but also as part of a group to improve the quality of photography and to create photographic experiences for people that they will treasure.

Two full on days, one on business and one practical photography training day where we got to shoot 5 real clients in a variety of lighting set ups and poses.  As I don’t normally shoot indoors, with lights and triggers, in manual mode or with people, this was a real learning experience for me.

As expected, I learn’t a lot, came away with a lot of new ideas and made some new friends along the way.  Being a part of a group like this is invaluable for support and advice whenever I need it and I valued everyone’s comments.

I’ll be back to pets and definitely no tutu’s next week, but in the meantime these were some of the shots I took during the shoot. Thank you to everyone involved.
