In A Nutshell
Who Am I?
Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Andrew—a dog and horse portrait photographer with a passion for capturing the true spirit of your animal and the bond you share.
For me, it’s all about honest, heartfelt images that show their personality—the cheeky quirks, soulful eyes, the quiet moments. These are more than just pictures—they’re memories you’ll treasure long after they’ve gone. Beautifully printed and framed, they become part of your home and your life.
Every session is relaxed and tailored to your pet—whether they’re lively, nervous, elderly or just wonderfully unique.
And it’s not just about photos. I donate 10% of all profits to dog and horse rescues—because I believe in giving back to the animals who need it most.
I also run my business as ethically as I can: I use local suppliers wherever possible, and when I need to go further afield, I choose businesses that plant trees, support sustainability, or have carbon-neutral initiatives.
To me, this work should mean something. It’s about honouring your pet, helping animals in need, and creating artwork that becomes more meaningful as time goes on.
💷 What Does It Cost?
Each session is bespoke, but to keep things simple:
📸 Photoshoots cost £49.95 to book
That includes:
- 90 minutes to 2 hours of relaxed shooting time
- Full insurance
- Travel within 20 miles of KA4 (happy to travel further by arrangement)
You're not tied into anything after the session—if you don’t want to buy any images once you’ve seen them, that’s absolutely fine, and I’ll refund your booking fee. You can also cancel up to 48 hours before and receive a full refund.
I want you to feel confident booking, knowing that if it’s not right for any reason, you’re not out of pocket.
Please note: the booking fee can be used towards any framed wall art or display boxes (unless it’s part of a promotion).
🖼 What Can We Do with the Images?
I’m a big believer in the power of printed photographs—they brighten your walls, lift your mood, and become even more special over time.
I offer a curated range of wall art, display boxes and prints, which I regularly update through the year. I’ll send you the most up-to-date options during your booking process, and I’m always happy to help if you're looking for something specific—whether that’s a certain size, frame style or colour to match your home.
Every printed wall art order comes with a full-size digital version for you to keep and share.
Please note: I don’t sell digital-only packages, and any digital images provided are professionally edited by me and not for re-editing, competitions, or resale.
And remember: 10% of all profits go directly to animal charities, so your artwork gives something back too.
🏡 'Make Your House a Home'
Your images deserve to be seen, so when it comes time to decide how to display them, I’ll guide you through everything step-by-step.
I know it can feel like a big decision, but I’ve made the process simple, clear, and genuinely enjoyable.
From timeless framed pieces to modern display boxes, there’s something for every space and style.

Prices start around £100, and no matter your budget, we can create something beautiful together. Whether you're after one special piece or a collection, I’ll help you find what works for you.
A full price list is sent out when you book your session, and since I sometimes run promotions or change my products throughout the year, you’ll always get the most up-to-date info.
One thing I’m really proud of is that I never ‘sell’ to anyone. You’ll never be pushed or upsold—your budget, your pace, your choice. If you'd like to see the products before making any decisions, I'm happy to arrange a video call or welcome you to my studio in Galston, Ayrshire.
On average, clients tend to spend around £350, but what you choose to invest is entirely up to you.
🐾 What Makes the Experience Special?
From the moment you get in touch, it’s a personal and bespoke experience. It’s so important to me that you feel looked after, supported, and confident every step of the way. I’ll guide you through everything, there’s no rush, no pressure, and no assumptions.
Your happiness means everything to me, and that’s why I offer a Personal Promise & Guarantee:
If something goes wrong or plans need to change, we’ll fix it, rearrange it, or refund it, whatever it takes to make sure you leave happy.
🖼 Why My Products Stand Out
I don’t offer anything you can find on the high street. I’ve spent years sourcing beautiful, ethically-made pieces from small UK and Irish suppliers who care as much as I do about quality and sustainability. That includes things like responsibly sourced wood and eco-conscious production processes.
Every product is carefully chosen to complement my photography and to suit a wide range of homes. Whether you live in a country cottage, a townhouse, a modern flat, or even by the coast, these timeless pieces are made to feel right at home, wherever life takes you.
💛 Why Work With Me?
Honestly? Because I care.
I care about animals, about people, about creating something real and lasting. I love what I do, and I truly believe that pet photography can change lives—by giving us something joyful and lasting to hold onto, especially when our beloved companions are no longer with us.
So if you’re thinking about it, just give it a go. I think you’ll have an amazing experience.
🌿 How This Will Make Your Life Better
Every now and then, it’s good to do something just for you. Something meaningful.
More and more people are looking beyond material things, they want moments, memories, and things that actually matter.
That’s what this is.
You’ll spend a relaxed day outdoors with your best friend, doing something a bit different, a bit special.
You'll go home with muddy boots and a happy heart.
And then, a couple of weeks later, you'll sit down to see the photos from your shoot, and that moment will come flooding back.
From there, if you'd like to choose a piece for your home, I’ll help you find something perfect.
Every time you walk past it, it’ll make you smile.
That’s the real value, a reminder, every single day, of just how much they mean to you.
And in the end, that’s something truly priceless.
💛 Why Buy Through Me?
When you order your images through me, you’re not just buying a product—you’re supporting something meaningful.
I work closely with small, skilled businesses and craftspeople who care deeply about the work they do. Together, we create artwork that lasts a lifetime, and with every purchase, 10% of profits goes straight to dog and horse rescues—because helping animals in need is a big part of why I do what I do.
But beyond that, here’s why clients choose to order through me:
🐶 You’re Looked After Every Step of the Way
- I offer a no-risk guarantee. If you view your images and don’t want to purchase anything, your session fee is fully refunded—no pressure, no awkwardness.
- I’ll help you choose the right options based on your home, style, and budget so you can feel confident and excited about what you’re investing in.
🖼 You Get Something Truly Unique
- All products are handcrafted and bespoke—no mass production, no generic templates.
- Everything is made in the UK or Ireland by skilled craftspeople I know and trust.
- Many of these makers have decades of experience in fine art printing—you’re getting the very best in the industry.
📦 Quality You Simply Can’t Find Online
- I only use professional trade labs that aren’t available to the general public.
- Your prints are made on gallery-quality, archival papers—100% acid-free and pH-neutral—designed to last a lifetime (just like in a museum or art gallery).
- From beautifully textured fine art varnishes to invisible, UV-resistant glass, these are pieces designed to be part of your home for decades.
🌱 Thoughtful, Ethical, and Sustainable
- I choose suppliers who care about the planet—whether that’s through recycling, low-carbon practices, or sustainable materials.
- Everything is selected with care. If a product doesn’t meet my standards for quality, ethics, and longevity, it simply doesn’t make the cut.
🤝 Personal Support & Flexibility
- Whether you prefer in-person viewings, video chats, or online ordering, I’m here to help you find what’s right for you—no guesswork.
- If you’ve got something specific in mind that’s not in my regular range, just let me know—I’ll find it for you.
- Some of my products even come with 5-year guarantees, so if anything goes wrong, it’s sorted—no stress, no fuss.
Everything I offer has been hand-picked with love and intention. I believe in creating work that becomes more meaningful with time—something you’ll look at every day and smile.
And when you choose to invest in that, you’re not just creating artwork for your home… you’re helping rescue animals find food, shelter, and safety.
That’s something we can both feel proud of.

Top Tips For Choosing Artwork
🖼 Before You See Your Images
A little prep can go a long way in helping you get the most out of your portraits. So before you sit down to view them, here are a few things to think about:
1. Take a walk around your home
Have a look at where you'd love to enjoy these images every day. Think about spaces like the wall above your sofa, a hallway, a shelf, a sideboard, or the mantelpiece—anywhere that could use a bit of heart and personality.
2. Get a quick measure
It doesn’t need to be exact, but having a rough idea of the space helps when deciding what size will work best. Here’s a simple guide:
- Around 40" above a 3-seater sofa
- Around 30" above a 2-seater or a fireplace
- Around 20" in an alcove or smaller space
3. Don’t stress about decisions yet
Wait until you’ve seen the images—you might be surprised by what jumps out at you!
4. Want a visual mock-up?
If you’re unsure, just send me a photo of the wall (with a piece of white A4 paper taped up where you’re thinking of hanging something). I’ll create a digital mock-up to help you picture how it’ll look.
📸 After You’ve Seen Your Images
Here’s what to consider once you've had a chance to look through your gallery:
1. Pick your favourites
The ones that make you smile, tear up, or laugh—those are the keepers.
2. Think about where they’ll go
Now that you’ve seen them, decide which images suit which space—and how big they need to be to really shine.
3. Choose the finish
Would you like it framed? A wrapped canvas? Sleek acrylic? Or maybe something tactile like a print box?
I’ll guide you through the options so it suits both your style and space.
4. What about the other images you love?
A print box is a great way to keep a full set together, or we can create a collection of matted prints for a more hands-on option.
5. Gifts for family or friends?
These portraits make beautifully personal gifts, whether it’s for a birthday, Christmas, or just a little thank-you for someone who’s helped with walking or dog-sitting.
6. Not sure what to go for?
Just ask. I’m always happy to chat things through and help you find the best way to enjoy your images every day.
