A Personal Message from Me
If you have pets, especially dogs or horses, please take a moment to consider having some professional photographs taken of them.
It doesn’t have to be with me, but I genuinely encourage you to find someone whose work you trust. A good photographer can capture far more than what we see every day as owners: their quirks, their expressions, the essence of who they are.
Then get those images framed. Put them up around your home.
Because I promise you, seeing their face every day, especially on the hard days after they’re gone, brings comfort that’s hard to put into words.
I know this from personal experience.
I’ve felt the ache of not having any truly meaningful images of a loved one. And time and again, when I tell people what I do, they say the same thing:
“I wish I’d had proper photos taken of them… I miss them so much.”
It’s heartbreaking to hear.
So if you don’t yet have lasting images of your pet and would like to talk about what’s possible, I’d be glad to have a chat.
As a specialist in dog and equine photography, I work with all kinds of personalities, from excitable pups to nervous rescues, and I’m always happy to tailor the session to your animal. We can also look at how best to display your images, with bespoke framing options that suit your space and style.
And if you’re reading this thinking “My dog/horse would never behave for a photo session” don’t worry, I hear that a lot.
I’ve got more than a few tricks up my sleeve to make sure we still get something beautiful and real.
If you’re part of a rescue or animal charity and need imagery to support your work, please don’t hesitate to reach out. This is something I care deeply about, and I’ll always help when I can.
Thanks for reading, I look forward to hearing from you and learning about the animals you love.

KIND WORDS
Since starting Andrew Winter Photography, I have had the privilege of photographing hundreds of amazing dogs and horses around the UK, met amazing owners and heard the most incredible stories about these very special animals.
Here are some kind words from clients.
"Andrew managed to capture some truly beautiful images of some of the horses at Mane Chance, but more than that he seemed to capture the essence of each horse he photographed. And all done with calmness and no fuss, which made the horses feel very safe."
Jenny Seagrove, Mane Chance Sanctuary
