Guildford Staffy (and other dogs) Charity Dog Show

Bank Holiday Monday and it didn’t disappoint.

Yes it rained!

It rained a lot, but in-between the showers we had a great time at the Guildford Staffordshire Bull Terrier Charity Dog Show where I was asked to photograph the proceedings.

It was challenging on many levels, most notably tackling the weather conditions and trying not to miss any of the action.

I took over 220 photos in 3 hours and unusually for me every photo was different.  Normally many are almost the same as I use the fast shutter repeat when normally photographing animals and so the editing down has begun.

I have photos of rosette presentations as best as I could get them, photos of general goings on, photos of many types of dogs that were present and some observational images along the lines of things I would normally take.

I learnt a lot from the experience and had a lot of fun, hence the photo of me smiling - must have been more fun than my normal Monday day job me thinks.

I have a lot going on that i would like to accomplish with my photography at the moment and with Summer fast approaching I aim  to make some in-roads on my ambitions.

Thank you to Louise for the images of me ‘working’. These shots are always hard for me to achieve on my own!

If you wish to keep in touch then ‘bookmark’ this page or ‘Follow’ and ‘Like’ my Facebook page too make sure you don’t miss anything. I’m trying to reach 100 likes so if you like my work then I would really appreciate the help.

Oh, and tell your friends or anyone that was at the show about my work, I met and chatted to many lovely people on the day.

Thanks for reading,

A.
