CLTP - Changing Lives Through Photography

Part of my work involves giving something back to the world of animals.  I call it CLTP - Changing Lives Through Photography.

It’s very simple, I aim to use my photography to change the lives of animals, notably pets who need a home as they are the ones that so desperately need help.  So if you know of anyone who could benefit from some professional photography services, free of charge, then please ask them to get in touch and let me know what they need.

Last weekend I was on a shoot and while I was there I offered to photograph a rescue dog dog Masa who was also at the house.  She’s a Sarplaninac, a breed from Serbia who were originally bred to guard flocks of sheep from bears and wolves.  Tied up on a short chain for 7 years of her life. she has recently been rescued and brought over to the uk where the chance of a happy, loving home is far greater.

I found Masa to be the softest, cuddliest, laid back dogs I have ever met and would make a great companion for someone.  She is up for rehoming through the charity ‘Serbia’s Forgotten Paws’ which is where we found our Merlin.  UPDATE - She’s been out for a trial this weekend, so fingers crossed.

In case it doesn’t work out, if you know someone who might be interested in having a wonderful laid back dog at home, maybe even yourself then please contact me or the charity directly and we can put you in touch with the people looking after her.  They also have a number of dogs available so if you are looking for a really special rescue then get in touch.  Better to rescue than buy from a breeder.
