11 years ago we found Gemma at Battersea Dogs Home and a week later she was home with us. We don’t know how old she was when we found her but No more that 18 months I would guess. Left tied up to a lamp post in Hillingdon High Street, Greater London someone just walked away from her…..

At the time we also had Meg as well although she was an elderly lady at the time with issues of her own, and what a journey we went on with the both of them. 

Gemma is till with us and although a little slower these days and liking her comfort, she is still as strong as ever, never growing out of some of her bad habits, but she’s still attending agility classes every week and running around at dog fields with her friends. A little greyer and wiser she hasn’t really changed much at all.

She’s always the first up whenever I get my camera out and is a natural poser with lots of patience and my photography would not be as good without her in my life.
