How A Photoshoot Works
1. Book a 15 minute phone call to discuss the right photoshoot for you.
I find a quick 15 minute phone call to be the best and easiest way to find out more about what you are looking for, explain my process, compare schedules, answer any questions and move forward with a booking.
I am available at the times below on the calendar, so please feel free to book a chat at a time that suits you.

2. Complete our Questionnaire, sign the Contract and pay the Session Fee.
The Questionnaire is a fun way to let me know all about your relationship with your pet and helps me to plan your photoshoot.
The Contract ensures everyone is safe and understands what happens to the images and details the practicalities of a location shoot.
The Session Fee is £95 and covers the Time, Equipment and Insurance involved.
3. Have an Amazing Photoshoot
Our photoshoots are safe, fun, relaxed, working with the animal to make them feel secure. Sometimes it can be a bit of an adventure, but the images we capture and then produce will exceed your expectations and capture the very soul and personality of your dog or horse.
We shoot in multiple locations depending on the time of year, the weather and the requirements of the animals involved.
Everything is open for discussion so let me know what you have in mind.
4. Receive your Slideshow Link.
Within 2 weeks you will receive a link to your slideshow, which once clicked, will give you 24hrs access to all of your images presented with music that you can share and watch as many times as you like.
I believe that seeing your images in a non-pressurised situation, in your own home, at a time when you can be relaxed and really enjoy the experience before deciding what your investment will be, is important in order for you to make the right decision.
5. Choose Your Collection.
Our Collections give you total flexibility over how you wish to present and keep your images. Rather than offer Collections of certain products, as other photographers do, I offer an amount of 'Print Credit' that you can use on anything in the store PLUS a certain amount of 'Digital Files' as well.
6. Decide how you would like to use your Store Credit to display your images from our beautiful products available in store.
If you need any help with selecting images or products or wish to see anything then just drop me a message and I will arrange a video call with you to help put an order together.
The Collections
Our Collections give you total flexibility over how you wish to present and keep your images. Rather than offer 'Collections' of certain products bundled together which can leave you with products that you do not wish to have, I offer an amount of 'Print Credit' that you can use on anything in the store PLUS a certain amount of 'Digital Files' as well.
Depending on what your budget is and what you are looking for, purchasing a 'Collection' and using the included 'Print Credit' towards your choice can work out less expensive, plus you get a certain amount of 'Digitals' as well.
I include ‘Print Credit’ with each and every Collection because I feel that if you are going to go through the time, effort and trouble to hire a professional, I want you to have at least one bespoke product to show for all that effort. If physical products are not your thing, then you can always use your ‘Print Credit’ towards additional digital files in the store.
I also like to include ‘Digital Files’ with each of my Collections because they are your number one insurance policy against losing your physical images. If something was to happen to your physical images, your digital files are your back up and would be the way that you can have them reprinted.

What is a Photoshoot to me?
A Professional Photoshoot is not just an opportunity to create amazing images and memories that you will never forget.
As a specialist dog and equine photographer, I spend every day working with the owners of dogs and horses yo create incredible images of their beloved pets.
But to me it's not just a photoshoot, it's so much more than that.
It is time to re-connect. No phones, no disturbances, fresh air, space, time to relax and enjoy some personal, quality time with your best friend without any interruptions. It's an opportunity.
For me, dog and equine photography is not just turning up and pushing the button on the camera. Everyone can do that nowadays.
It's about capturing the Love and Connection you have with your dog or horse, the Family bond, creating Memories and portraying the Relationships and Emotions that you have with each other. It's a very special moment in time.
We are all incredibly busy nowadays and life moves pretty fast. It's easy to get lost in it and then before you know it, it's too late.

You will have nothing to worry about even if your dog or horse misbehaves or is having an off day as I have years of experience with dogs and horses of all breeds, temperaments and personalities and have dealt with most problems at some time.
To keep your animals safe, I always work outdoors in environments with plenty of space for everyone in locations where everyone can relax and enjoy their time with me.

Did you know there are also health benefits to be had?
My Photography experiences are a great mindfulness exercise in themselves. Being focused just on your best friend for 90 minutes with nothing else to think about is such an amazing thing that the animals really respond to. With life being so busy this can sometimes be a difficult thing to find time to do. But it doesn't end there, the resulting photographic images on display in your home will continue to make you smile and give you that warm fuzzy feeling every time you see them.
Photography is great for your overall mental health, everyone comes away from it feeling better than before, including myself.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring?
I will provide you with a checklist for your photoshoot as part of the booking process so there is nothing for you to try and remember.
Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely, in fact I would encourage you to do so as a spare of hands is always useful.
Do I need to walk my dog or exercise my horse before hand?
No, there is time within the shoot to allow them to burn off a little bit of steam and it can make for some good shots. I'd prefer this to an animal that is already tired.
What if my dog or horse is reactive?
Please let me know when we discuss the shoot and this will be taken into consideration. Generally it is not a problem at all, it just might need a bit of organising regarding location or time of day, but it's not problem.
What if I cannot let them off the lead?
Not a problem at all, again let me know as I have ways of photographing them where this will not be a problem, plus some editing tricks.
Can I be in the photo's?
Yes I would encourage it.
What if I do not wish to be photographed?
No problem at all, but there are ways of getting you into the images in a way that is subtle. See my galleries for examples. You will regret it when you see the final images if there are not at least a couple with you in them.
What about the weather?
If it's going to be wet then we can re-arrange.
What happens after the session?
Your images will be available within two weeks of the photoshoot.
I encourage all of my clients to think about what they are going to want to do with the images when they book as this can inform the images captured on the day.
Print is my passion and cannot be surpassed for the overall quality of the final image and I only use the very best trade photo labs in the UK giving you better image quality than printing at home or at a high street store.
At all times through the process I will be there to advise and discuss your favourite images and how they can be best presented within your budget.
